The HI-SF0820F2L comes with two uplink ports with 100Mbps transfer rate to ensure high-speed data, reliable assurance for connection between the WiFi transmition network and outside network where the four PoE ports can be used to their full potential.

Targeting the growing WiFi Network applications, the HI-SF0820F2L 24V PoE Switch is also positioned as a Network Switch for quick and easy PoE WiFi deployment with power feeding. The HI-SF0820F2L supports 24V PoE along with eight 10/100BASE-TX ports, and two extra Fast Ethernet TP interface supporting high-speed transmission of data.
The built-in solid DIP switch provides “Standard” and “Extend” operation modes. The HI-SF0820F2L operates as a normal 24V PoE Switch in the “Standard” operation mode. In the “Extend” operation mode, the HI-SF0820F2L can support PoE power output over a distance of up to 250 meters overcoming the 100m limit on Ethernet UTP cable. With this brand-new feature, the HI-SF0820F2L provides an additional solution for 24V PoE distance extension, thus saving the cost of Ethernet cable installation. Its VLAN isolation function isolates ports so as to prevent broadcast storm and defend DHCP spoofing in the “Extend” operation mode.

Intelligent PoE and Port Priority
Support 24V passive POE. If power consumption is overloaded, a priority will be arranged among the PoE ports, then the system will cut off the power of the lowest-priority port.

Easy Cable Connection
With data switching and power over Ethernet integrated into one unit, the HI-SF0820F2L reduces cabling requirements and eliminates the need for electrical outlets on the wall, ceiling or any unreachable place. A wire that carries both data and power can lower the installation costs, simplify the installation effort and eliminate the need for electricians or extension cords. With 8 PoE interfaces, the HI-SF0820F2L is ideal for small businesses and workgroups making the deployment of the PoE facility including wireless access points, IP-based surveillance camera and IP phones in any places easier, more efficient and more cost-effective.
