Description:

Drop cable pigtails are specifically designed to be used in FTTH networks, between a customer outlet and an ONT equipment. Summit pigtails are strengthened, thus they are resistant to mechanical damages, contrary to ordinary patch cords. Therefore, each cable is constructed from flame-retardant materials, which do not emit any poisonous substances and toxic smoke (LSOH). The connector is clamped directly on the cable’s sheath. Accurate and precise manufacturing process, detailed quality control process, interferometric measurements as well as the control of IL and RL parameters make Summit pigtails reliable components of fiber optic networks.
