Overview:
Modular optical PLC splitter.
The Terra so418 optical splitter divides the optical signal from the output of the optical transmitter into eight optical paths. The splitter can be used in any Pons (Passive Optical Networks).
The so418 splitter 1×8 can be mounted separately on the wall, using the supplied accessories, or it can be placed together with other devices on a universal DIN rail 19DIN-U (also in a rack cabinet). No need to use frames or optical adapters; fibers terminated with SC/APC connectors can be plugged directly into the device. The hub can be used with the following components of TERRA systems:
● TV Optical Transmitters – Distribution of TV signals via optical fibers
● WDM diplexers – signal transmission at 1310 nm and 1550 nm via one fiber
● RF signal processing equipment (broadband and channel amplifiers, analog TV and DVB-T modulators)
